Terms of Service

1. Who we are

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website vantakit.com and the software Vantakit Shots (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Ahmet Salih Yalçın, a sole proprietorship registered in Türkiye, trading as "Vantakit" ("we", "us", "our").

By using the Service or buying a license, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Vantakit Shots is browser-based software that lets you create images for app store listings from your own screenshots. You can add a device frame, text and a background and export PNG files. The software runs in your web browser and processes your images locally on your device.

The Service is available in two versions:

  • Free: free of charge, with a watermark and a single export size.
  • Pro: a paid, one-time license that removes the watermark and unlocks all export sizes and custom background colours, as described on our Pricing page.

Vantakit Shots is a digital software product. We do not sell physical goods and we do not provide consulting, design or other personal services.

3. Purchases and payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payment and handles returns.

When you buy Pro, you buy it from Paddle, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Paddle processes your payment, calculates and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, and sends you a receipt.

  • Prices are shown in US dollars on our website. Paddle may display the price in your local currency at checkout. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
  • Pro is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and you will not be charged again for the same license.
  • We may change prices for future purchases. Price changes never affect a license you have already bought.

4. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Vantakit Shots.

  • The Free version may be used free of charge for personal and commercial projects.
  • A Pro license is perpetual and is for use by one person. You may activate your license key in the browsers and on the devices you personally use.
  • You may use the images you create for any lawful purpose, including commercial app store listings. You do not need to credit us when using Pro.

You may not: share, resell or publish your license key; copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the software, except where the law expressly permits it; remove or bypass license checks or watermarks; or use the Service to build a competing product.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to the screenshots, text and other content you put into the Service ("Your Content"). Your Content is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded to us. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to use Your Content and that the images you create comply with the law and with the rules of the app stores where you publish them.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes the rights of others (including trademarks and copyrights), is misleading, or violates the policies of Apple, Google or other platforms. Device frames provided by the Service are generic illustrations and are not affiliated with or endorsed by any device manufacturer.

7. Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on Pro purchases, as described in our Refund Policy. Refunds are processed by Paddle. When a purchase is refunded, the related license key is deactivated.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the software, website, design, logos and the "Vantakit" name, is owned by Ahmet Salih Yalçın and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the license in section 4, these Terms do not give you any rights to our intellectual property.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and working well, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, improve or change features of the Service. If we ever discontinue Vantakit Shots, a Pro license you bought will continue to work for the latest version you had access to, and you may contact us for help.

10. Warranty

We provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Except as stated in these Terms and to the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without other warranties of any kind. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country that cannot be excluded by contract.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for your Pro license in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or deactivate a license key if it is used in breach of these Terms, for example if it is shared publicly or resold. If we do this without your fault, you will receive a refund.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes apply from the date they are published and do not apply retroactively to purchases already made.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts of that country. Please contact us first at support@vantakit.com; most issues can be solved quickly by email.
